Business Requirements - CRM system for Grants Management

 

CLIENT CHALLENGE

A new policy for the allocation of funding had been mandated to this organisation. Organisations would need to tender for funds rather than apply for hand-outs. This policy had to be implemented across the organisation and new business processes and systems developed. The organisation had been approaching this problem in a particular way and was challenged with stakeholder involvement and how to translate the new government policy into business requirements.

DESCRIPTION

CEC was awarded a project to develop the functional business requirements. Stakeholders were re-engaged with an accelerated approach that involved multiple workshops with users to document business requirements and define business processes. A prototype of the new system was developed to facilitate stakeholder engagement and understanding of real-world scenarios.

  • Project approach redesigned and stakeholders re-engaged
  • Functional requirements complete documented as Use Cases
  • Working prototype developed
  • tender document subsequently completed (by procurement department)
