PMO – Post-implementation Review (PIR) Process Re-engineering

 

CLIENT CHALLENGE

This need for this project emerged from a compliance audit finding. Current post-implementation review (PIR) process and documents have fallen out of use based on overly complex data requirements, poor communication of outcomes, and lack of action on lessons learned.

DESCRIPTION

We provided a Senior Program Director and a Senior Consultant to review current-state processes and requirements and to define and create a new, stream-lined process. We piloted the new process by conducting the PIR for a large, multi-year, multi-million dollar website transformation programme.

OUTCOMES

The pilot project PIR had a high level of engagement and stakeholder buy-in for the new PIR process. As a result, the PMO implemented our recommendation to roll out the new PIR process and to integrate it into the PMO Quality Management process to provide end-to-end project life-cycle quality management continuous improvement.
